Take State Highway 1 North from Auckland. At the 3rd traffic lights in Warkworth, turn right towards Leigh, and follow the (brown) tourist signs to Goat Island Marine Reserve.
The reserve is 3km past the small town of Leigh. GPS reference: Goat Island Road
